PETER R.B. ARMSTRONG
Executive Chairman and CEO
In 1989, Peter Armstrong assembled the successful team to bid on the fledging Rocky Mountaineer service that was being operated by Via Rail, a subsidized federal crown corporation. The company's turnaround and subsequent success has been achieved without government subsidy. His principles of guest services have been the driving force behind the company's high level of guest satisfaction.
A native of New Brunswick, a resident of Vancouver, British Columbia for over 40 years, Mr. Armstrong is a recipient of the Canadian Venture Capital Association's Entrepreneur of the Year Award, Ernst & Young's Entrepreneur of the Year Award for Tourism and Hospitality and the Queen's Golden Jubilee Medal for contribution to Canadian communities. He has also been inducted into the Canadian Railway Hall of Fame.
Mr. Armstrong sits on the board of directors of many organizations in the tourism industry, in addition to educational, private and public companies and charities.

RANDY POWELL
President
Randy Powell joined Armstrong Group in 2007 as President, bringing over 20 years of business leadership to the organization. Originally from Toronto, Ontario, Mr. Powell has spent the last seven years as President of two divisions of Maple Leaf Foods. Prior to that, he was President and Chief Executive Officer of Second Cup Coffee Company and President of S.C. Johnson and Sons, Canada.
During his career, Mr. Powell has received a number of accolades, including the Financial Post’s “Top 40 under 40” award and Business Hall of Fame recognition from Sheridan College in Ontario.
As President of Armstrong Group, Mr. Powell is working with the executive team to develop a strategic vision which will secure the company’s position as the premier provider of exceptional travel experiences in North America. During the operating season, Mr. Powell leads more than 2000 employees.
Mr. Powell holds a Bachelors Degree in Business Administration Studies from York University.

JAMES TERRY
Executive Vice President and C.O.O.
James Terry started his responsibilities with Rocky Mountaineer Vacations in
1995 as Director, Guest Services and Operations. He became Chief Operating Officer
for the organization in 1999. In this position, Mr. Terry is responsible for
the overall management of the company and reports directly to the President and
his board of directors. He is presently a board member of the Tourism Industry
Association of Canada.
Mr. Terry has over 30 years of hotel and restaurant management experience in his native England as well as in Australia and Canada.
Prior to joining Rocky Mountaineer Vacations, he was the Managing Director of a company managing four high end restaurants in Vancouver.

ROBERT NICE, C.A.
Executive Vice President and CFO
Bob Nice joined the Armstrong Group in 2006 and brings over 20 years of experience in finance and accounting in both public practice and industry and his international career includes positions in England and Bermuda.
Since leaving public practice 10 years ago, Mr. Nice has progressed through various financial positions in several industries including retail oil and gas, cable television and telecommunications where, most recently he worked as the CFO of Primus Telecommunications located in Toronto, Ontario.
At AG in his role as Chief Financial Officer, his department is responsible for the production of all financial information and reporting, and for the implementation and maintenance of all information technology.
A native of New Brunswick on Canada’s east coast, Mr. Nice has a Bachelor of Business Administration degree from the University of New Brunswick and is a Chartered Accountant.

GLENN MUNRO, C.A.
Executive Vice President, Corporate Development
Glenn Munro has been associated with Rocky Mountaineer Vacations since 1991 when he first acted as a financial advisor to the company while a partner in a Vancouver-based firm. He subsequently formed his own investment banking firm. In the early years of operations, he was primarily responsible for arranging financing for the company. Mr. Munro was appointed Executive Vice President in 2000 and in this role he currently oversees the corporate development activities of the Armstrong Group of Companies.
A native of Ontario, Mr. Munro is a Chartered Accountant and was a senior partner in a large Western Canadian C.A. firm for a number of years. Mr. Munro entered the investment banking field in 1989 when he became a partner in a new Vancouver based firm. He subsequently formed his own Investment Banking firm in 1992.

PETER CASEMENT
Vice President, Operations
Peter Casement joined Rocky Mountaineer Vacations in 1999 with more than 30 years of experience within the travel and tourism industry. Prior to joining the company, he worked for CP Air and Canadian Airlines in Vancouver, Toronto, Winnipeg and Calgary where he was responsible for airport operations in Western Canada.
Mr. Casement is responsible for the maintenance, operations and safety of the trains throughout Rocky Mountaineer Vacations' system. Based in Kamloops on a 22-acre site, his department overseas a fleet of over 25 motorcoaches, Kamloops Evening Entertainment venues and the maintenance of Rocky Mountaineer Vacations' 100 pieces of equipment. This includes 9 locomotives (GP40-2's), 16 GoldLeaf Dome Coaches and over 40 RedLeaf coaches. In order to service two new routes in 2006, Mr. Casement's department was responsible for the acquisition and operation of an additional eighteen pieces of rolling stock.

MARK SOUTHERN
Vice President,
Guest Services
Mark Southern joined Rocky Mountaineer Vacations in 2005 with twenty-four years of experience in the travel and tourism industry.
Previously, Mr. Southern has held a variety of senior management positions with both Canadian Airlines and Air Canada in Winnipeg, Calgary, Edmonton and Vancouver. Most recently, he served as Director of Station Operations in British Columbia for Air Canada.
Mr. Southern is responsible for the day-to-day delivery of the very best in service and oversees a total staff of over 250. The Guest Services Department manages the purchasing, preparation and delivery of the Rocky Mountaineer and Whistler Mountaineer’s internationally acclaimed food, beverage and souvenirs, as well as the detailed commentary and hospitality that is provided by more than 160 onboard crew. When not onboard, our guests are assisted by our station staff and those that manage our motorcoach programs in the Rockies, as well as the company’s network of Guest Services Managers throughout Western Canada.
