The Rocky Mountaineer Station is a heritage style building and is available for special events.

Located in the False Creek Flats area of beautiful Vancouver, this renovated mid-1950 ’s locomotive maintenance building is a unique venue for your special event. The classic, vintage rail building was remodeled by Rocky Mountaineer Vacations for use as the Train Station. Combining a nostalgic feel with contemporary design, this bright and flexible 20,000 sq ft meeting and reception space includes exposed timber and brick, large glass windows, 35 ft vaulted ceilings with metal beams and drive-in access through three overhead doors.

  • 12,400 sq ft of open space – North Hall 7100 sq ft and South Hall 5300 sq ft
  • Capacity: Dining - 994 guests: Reception -125 5 guests: Auditorium – 1400 guests Non-Liscenced
  • “T” Style design allows you to close off one section for smaller events
  • Kitchen prep area 1755 square feet – area only, no services
  • Power - 100A (3ph) available for small events and 600V power for large events (electrician required)
  • Access – Three overhead doors available for load -in access
  • Over 100 parking spaces available as well as 15 bus bays
  • Up to 35 ft high ceilings with exposed timber and metal beams
  • Walls are designed with exposed timber and brick, with large glass windows allowing natural light to stream into the halls
  • Washrooms – Full facilities available with wheelchair accessibility
  • Comfortable and luxurious leather benches and chairs available to rent

Availability (subject to change)

The station is available year round for events, however, during our peak season from April until the middle of October, the station is available only during the following days and times:
Saturday - anytime day or evening
Sunday/Tuesday/
Thursdays
- late morning and throughout the remainder of the day/evening
- no early morning/breakfast events
Monday/Wednesday/Friday - morning and early lunch
