Contest Entry Guidelines

1. Entries must be submitted online via the electronic submission form
2. Only JPG digital images will be accepted
3. Photos must be taken during a trip aboard the Rocky Mountaineer
4. Entry deadline is November 15th, 2008
5. Prizes will be awarded to the first place entrant in each of the three categories. The lucky winners will receive a Men’s or Ladies’ Signature Watch featuring a medallion-style black face, acid etched in three dimensions with the Rocky Mountaineer logo.

Rules and Regulations

Eligibility

The “Share Your Experience” digital photo contest is open to any amateur photographer who has experienced a trip aboard the Rocky Mountaineer. All submissions must be original, unpublished photographs taken during your Rocky Mountaineer vacation.  Armstrong Group employees and their families are not eligible for this contest.  Individuals are eligible to submit photos for all three categories, however may only win a prize within one of the three categories.

Format:

All entries must be made via the official online entry form and must be a digital JPG file with a maximum file size of 4MB (4000kb). Content alteration of files is not acceptable; colour and tonal corrections are acceptable.

Entries & Identification:

There is no limit for photo submissions. When filling out the entry form, all entries must include the category for submission, a caption and the approximate location of the photo.

Deadline:

All entries must be received on or before November 15th, 2008.  A panel of judges at the Rocky Mountaineer Vacations offices will select the winners.  Winners will be notified by phone or email and the winning photos will be featured in the Guest Lounge section of the Rocky Mountaineer Vacations website.

Prizing:

First place and runner up for each of the three categories will be featured in the Guest Lounge section of the Rocky Mountaineer Vacations website. The first place winner in each category will receive a Men’s or Ladies’ Signature Watch featuring a medallion-style black face, acid etched in three dimensions with the Rocky Mountaineer logo.  All prizes are non-refundable and may not be taken as cash.
