The wildlife in the Canadian Rockies helps to distinguish this region from all others, and makes for a perfect vacation.Along the Rocky Mountaineer train route you may see any of the large mammal or bird species for which this area is known. Black and grizzly bears, elk, moose, bighorn sheep, cougar, wolves, lynx and caribou are some of the many species that rely on the large tracts of protected land to survive. All guests in the National Parks have the opportunity to experience the diverse environment that is home to these creatures.
